The beauty I see in the mirror has nothing to do with the perfume I (dont) wear, the (not designer) clothes hanging off my body or the (simple) jewelry I wear. It has everything to do with the wrinkles I am beginning to adorn. My beauty is defined by my actions, by my history, by my decisions. I see my beauty being shaped every day by the choices I make, the stances I take, and the family I have chosen. To see my beauty I can look in the mirror, in the eyes of a friend, or to the proud face of my mother. For a stranger to see my beauty, all it takes is a conversation. A persons worth is not judged by what they are, but who they are.
